This notice is issued under the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (as amended). It explains what personal data MRXjobs.com collects and what we do with it. A Bahasa Malaysia summary appears at the end.
Who is responsible
Analisis Konjoin Sdn Bhd (Registration No. 202101023346 (1423646-K)), 7-2, Plaza Danau 2, Jalan 2/109F, Taman Danau Desa, 58100 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is the data controller for this site.
What we collect
You can browse the whole board without giving us anything. We only collect personal data when you choose to give it:
- Job alerts. Your email address and the country you select, when you sign up for email updates (through the form or the site’s WebMCP tool).
- Job submissions and reports. The link and any description you type when you add or report a job. Please do not include personal details in that free-text box.
- Technical data. Our hosting and content delivery providers log IP addresses and browser details to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not build profiles of visitors. Your kanban board (which jobs you moved into which column) is stored only in your own browser’s local storage and is never sent to us.
Why we use it, and on what basis
We use your email address and country solely to send you new job listings for that country. We use submissions and reports to check and improve the listings on the board. We rely on your consent, given when you submit the form. You can withdraw it at any time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with employers or recruiters. We use service providers who process data on our behalf: Microsoft (Power Automate, which receives and stores form submissions), Amazon Web Services (hosting and content delivery), and Google Fonts and jsDelivr, which serve fonts and icons and therefore receive your IP address when a page loads. These providers operate servers outside Malaysia, so your data may be processed abroad under contractual protections. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, and then remove it from our active list. Submissions and reports are kept while the related listing is on the board and for a reasonable period afterwards.
Your rights
Under the Act you may ask us to give you access to your personal data, correct it, limit how we process it, stop using it for direct marketing, or transfer it to another provider where that applies. You may also withdraw your consent, which stops future emails.
To exercise any of these rights, or to complain, write to us at the address above or message our LinkedIn page. We reply within the period the Act allows. You may also complain to the Personal Data Protection Commissioner (Jabatan Perlindungan Data Peribadi, Malaysia).
Security, children and changes
We take reasonable steps to protect the limited data we hold, and we will notify the Commissioner and affected individuals of any breach that causes significant harm, as the Act requires. The site is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If we change this notice we will update the date at the top of this page.
